Stretch Yourself Challenge:
An Invitation To Pursue Personal Transformation One Perfectly Sized Challenge At A Time
I'm Kelly McCausey, a Mindset & Self-Lovability Coach.
My life has been utterly transformed by invitations from other people who had something to share - something new for me to try out. As I said yes to some invitations and no to others, I been changed from the inside out and my experience of the world around me has changed too!
So, will THIS invitation to STRETCH YOURSELF be one you say yes to?
Why Would I Want To Stretch Myself?
We uplevel our lives with small steps taken one after another - moving us forward towards creating what we want for ourselves and others.
Sometimes we get caught up in taking one step forward and two steps back - or we find ourselves moving in circles that never get us anywhere.
Stretching yourself is about trying something new - or trying something familiar in a new way.
Stretching yourself is about doing what it takes to NOT be in the same old place a year from now.
2025 Won't Be Any Different Unless YOU ARE.
Nothing can be more true.
Year after year people look to the New Year with hope for a fresh start - but there's nothing inherently magical about a date on the calendar.
January is a month like any other.
Minutes and hours are going to pass in our lives one way or another... how would you like to give as many of them as possible to boosting your Mindset & leaning into Self-Lovability?
Change happens on the inside and it can happen ANYTIME you want.
2025 CAN be an incredible year full of bright possibilities - but only YOU can make it so.
Sure... circumstances around us can spark change if outside forces are big enough. But we don't have to wait for something massive to happen TO us. We can initiate change of our own volition anytime we really want to.
The Stretch Yourself Challenge is a Live Coaching & Community Experience Running In January 2025.
Sure... circumstances around us can spark change if outside forces are big enough. But we don't have to wait for something massive to happen TO us. We can initiate change of our own volition anytime we really want to.
That's the magic of Stretching Yourself.
That's what the Stretch Yourself Challenge offers you, a container of time, brave space & high vibes all for you to dive into with the simple goal of trying something new for the sake of enjoying more of your life, your work & yourself!
I've chosen a variety of Self-Stretching activities, each one a different invitation to experience a practice with potential to grow you personally, overcome limiting beliefs & see yourself in a new light.
The essential idea here is for you to commit yourself to two self-loving projects while engaging with others who are doing the same thing. It's a recipe for amazeballs personal discovery and you might just find it utterly addicting!
A full schedule is shown down farther on this page, but essentially, there will be a weekly group coaching session and one regular weekly opportunity to connect in small groups. If you can make live sessions, it's awesome - but you can also catch up with replays and share takeaways in our discussion group. (So it's easy/doable for just about everyone!)
Kelly was the person who introduced me to mindset work. I was skeptical. I was resistant. I was stuck in my own limiting beliefs about it. Now I can't get enough, and I can't wait to see what she does next.

You'll Choose TWO Of The Following Challenges To Complete During The Month Long Event.
Any of these challenges can be completed in ten days or less.
North Star Word Of The Week
Have you ever chosen a word for the year but then forgot what the word was by the end of the month? Let's tighten things up and choose a word to honor and be guided by for just one week.
By making the length of focus so tight, we're going to amplify the experience and I'm 100% positive you'll find yourself fired up. Let your word help you make meaningful choices and maybe you'll so fall in love you decide to keep it longer.
Intended Benefits:
- Boosted intentionality in your day to day life.
- It's a fun way to self-coach.
Meditation Practice
I have made meditation a part of my life for about five years now and the number one benefit I gain from it is personal peace. After decades of constant battling with my own thoughts, I have learned to create space to be at ease with myself and all of the chatter in my head.
This Challenge is going to lay out a gentle framework for trying out meditation that anyone can do - no matter how loud and busy your brain is!
Intended Benefits:
- A new self-contained way to relax & self-regulate.
- Am empowered relationship with your own thoughts.
- New discoveries that can rise up out of a quieted mind.
Shadow Journaling
There are dozens of approaches when it comes to Shadow Journaling and I'm sure they all have benefits. As always, my practice is designed to be easy. For me, acknowledging 'my shadow' is about not running from my darker thoughts.
You won't have to hit a certain word count or do anything too deep to get a benefit from the experience.
Intended Benefits:
- Release from the weight of heavy emotions.
- Less fear of your own darkness.
- A new sense of bravery about even difficult things.
Forgive Someone & Let Yourself Off The Hook
You may have found it nearly impossible to disentangle yourself from negative feelings towards someone who caused you harm. Whether you're holding onto a bitter grudge or drowning in painful memories, a power step towards healing is choosing to forgive. Easier said than done - certainly. Worth the personal work to win back peace and ease in yourself? Yes!
Intended Benefits:
- Freedom from self-inflicted secondary pain. (No more drinking poison & hoping it hurts them!)
- New ability to spend energy on future focused activities.
Abundance Practice
I am offering you a brand new fully updated Abundance Practice that can be completed (and repeated often) in seven days.
For some, abundance is a concept that triggers resistance - it's all so 'woo-woo' and hard to get a handle on with your thinking brain... but don't run from this challenge. All you ever have to do is wonder 'what if this IS true?' and you'll be benefiting - I promise!
Intended Benefits:
- Discover the little ideas that keep you limited.
- Expand your awareness of there being more than enough.
- Dissolve personal resistance to receiving provision without always having to work hard.
One Foot In Front Of The Other
OMG am I including a Walking challenge? Hell yes I am! The goal is uncomplicated... get outside in the fresh air and take a little walk.
Rather than freak us all out with some big 10k step goal - I'm challenging you to a small stretch goal for YOU. If you haven't taken a ten minute walk in a long while, aim for that. If longer calls your name, answer with excitement!
Intended Benefits:
- Fresh thoughts flow easier when you're moving VS sitting still.
- Giving love to your body.
Declutter A Stressful Space
If you're at all like me, when clutter reaches a certain level - I lose focus and feel stress about my environment. This is true about my desk, my closets, my car - even my computer! It's a small thing - but it can have a big impact on me.
In this challenge you'll choose a few spaces to declutter and proudly show off the before and after. You may just be surprised by how it affects you, your creativity and energy.
Intended Benefits:
- Letting go makes space for the new.
- Build awareness of how your spaces influence you.
- Less situational stress!
Social Media Influence Detox
Oooh Snap... did I just invite you to take a break from social media? How could I not? When the spotlight is being shown on our internal thoughts and feelings - silencing all of the noise from outside is incredibly valuable.
Don't fret - as with all of these challenges, it won't last more than ten days. Anyone can handle a break from social apps for ten days!
Intended Benefits:
- To notice how much influence social apps have on our thoughts.
- More time to engage with yourself & people IRL!
- Clearer choices about the inputs you allow back in when it's over.
Purposeful Spending Freeze
Sometimes having good cash flow feels so good it flows out a bit faster than you'd like - so take this challenge and declare a no-excuses no-spending period of time to test your spending habits and reshape your choices in the future.
Before you worry, I'm not saying you won't pay your bills - I'm talking about all of the little day to day expenditures - and those impulse buys too!
Intended Benefits:
- Knowledge of how your incidental spending adds up.
- Ability to practice saying no to your impulses.
- Save up for a more purposeful purchase.
I can get it done. I can try something new. It doesn't have to be perfect out of the gate. Kelly speaks directly from the heart to help you see your own power and capabilities.

You'll Be Part Of A Community, Surrounded By Others Who Want To Stretch!
The impact of an uplifting community of people cannot be emphasized enough. I believe in the power of interactive coaching experiences because I've seen the magic that emerges between participants.
We see ourselves in others. We're inspired by their stories. We're fired up to overcome our own excuses!
We'll be together in Zoom every week and I have an intimate, easy to use private discussion space prepared for us to connect between live coaching sessions. You won't be left on your own and I'm sure you'll be a bright light of encouragement for your fellow challengers.
You'll Get The Printable Stretch Yourself Challenge 2025 Guide
I want to make sure that you have access to everything you need to accomplish ANY of the above challenges - during January or on your own in the future.
To that end, I've written a guide that you can have, print and keep long into the future.
Each activity comes with a set of clear instructions & helpful checklists. I'm giving you path to follow AND way to know that you 'finished' what you started. (Important, since this IS a Challenge after all!)
The Stretch Yourself Challenge Guide is the resource you're going to turn to whenever you're feeling stretched by life 💕
I thought I could fix things myself, or that only a licensed therapist could do the deeper work in our psychology that can keep us stuck in old loops and patterns. I was wrong on both counts because Kelly is gifted at listening, asking the questions you need to hear and need to answer. I see more clearly now the times when the blocks aren't external - they're all me - and they're fixable with mindset tweaks. I wouldn't have grown the way I have personally and professionally over the last 10 years without Kelly.

Kelly has a special instinct for asking questions that get right to the heart of my resistance. Somehow over the years I stopped believing in myself and what I am capable of then I stopped following my dreams. Working with Kelly has helped me unearth the brave, powerful woman I have always known myself to be. Thank you Kelly for providing a safe place to explore and reframe how I view myself and the world!

"What if it were easy?" I often find myself repeating the words I've heard Kelly say countless times. I know I have a habit of making things more difficult than they need to be. My emotions and feelings get me all jumbled up. Masterminding with Kelly over the years has helped me tremendously. I've learned to stop, regroup and ask myself that simple question to help with major decisions that have shifted the trajectory of my personal and professional life.

I will be forever grateful to Kelly for my mantras of "What if it were easy?", "What do you want to create more of in the world?" and "What am I overthinking?" I am always filtering what I'm doing through the lens of these questions that so often make me realize I'm making things harder than they need to be. Kelly is always in my head--and that's a good thing.

I'm grateful for Kelly's encouragement to face indecisiveness, imposter syndrome, and fears with courage and boldness which have personally impacted me on my journey in launching a business.
