Do You Help Others Too Much?

RE: Dream Chasing Skills

When I think of all the ways you can have a positive impact on the world, I want to put every good tool in your hands to make it happen faster, easier, bigger & more amazing!

That’s what we women do… we support one another. We see a need and look for ways to meet it.

For most of my life I’ve poured myself into supporting the dreams of others—and that’s certainly not a bad thing… but it can become one when we never take the chance to chase our own big goals and dreams.

Is there any possibility you’ve gone overboard in service of others? How much is too much and is there such a thing?

If your time and talents could be counted and budgeted like dollars, how much have you spent on other’s dreams and what have you spent to see your own come into fruition?

I love helping others and feel this huge call on my life to be an encourager of women. I want to instigate powerful communities and raise up amazing leaders just like you.

My dream is big and it will never come to pass if I give all my attention and creativity to others.

It’s a little bit of a conundrum isn’t it? I want to help people, but if I help people too much, I won’t be able to help people!

We roll our eyes when someone says, ‘Hey, you’ve got to take care of yourself if you want to be able to take care of others’ but dang—it’s true!

Listen… you have to come first sometime.

Of all the good tools you can develop to make your dreams come true faster, easier, bigger & more amazing… your mindset is the most effective. Keep feeding it well!

You are a promise to be kept to the world.

The dreams you have, the vision developing in your heart, if it makes you smile and calls you to stretch and grow—oh my friend—go for it!!

Other thoughts pop up and whisper, ‘Oh, but who am I to think I can do something like this?’ That’s normal—we all have them.

I used to imagine other women out there who I see to be so powerful, they must have come out of the womb that way, right? Confidence and determination must just be who they are… but of course that’s not true.

Every amazing woman you see has gotten where she is by building skills, gaining experience, fostering relationships and taking care of herself.

She looked in the mirror and said YES to her own goals. Now it’s your turn. (And mine!)
